Title

A good place to flourish

Description

In our backyard, when we moved to Escondido, my father planted two little trees. The guava trees were just little branches when my dad brought them. He was very sure to carefully choose the very best spot and soil, and took good care of them. Throughout my life, I heard my father saying, “Un buen arbol florece donde esta plantado” which means: A good tree flourishes where it is planted. I truly believe that we, as persons, must make roots, grow, bloom, and overflow with good fruits right where we are living. I love my trees and looking at them full of good fruit makes me feel a great joy. It is a delight to enjoy their delicious products! All in all, every time I see my trees, I remember my father and his great love for me. They also bring to my mind my life here in America and they make me feel so grateful to be just in the right place, at home!
